• Purchase: $1050 plus disbursements
• Purchase with mortgage: $1200 plus disbursements
• Sale: $850 plus disbursements
• Mortgage or refinancing: $550 plus disbursements

Good To Know
Land Transfer Tax

When you a buy or transfer a house, condo or land in Ontario you are subject to land transfer tax which is due upon closing.  In certain circumstances you can be eligible for rebate or not pay land transfer tax at all.  If you are purchasing a home in Toronto, it is important to note that additional Toronto Land Transfer Tax will also apply.
New Home Agreement Review 

The joy of buying a new home is stressful as you are presented with the complicated Purchase and Sale Agreements by your builder with many clauses and numbers.  Not reviewing the fine print, especially closing adjustments, of the agreement can end up costing you extra money. Have a lawyer review the agreement and it will help you avoid extra costs.
